Resilience: Nature's Secret Weapon in Manifestation

Dear friends,

Have you ever really wanted a particular relationship to work, or to get a particular client, or a living situation to really work out well only to have it burn to the ground and be left seemingly with nothing but ashes? I think we’ve all had this experience. This week I’ve really been feeling the devastation of our California fires after working last Saturday just miles from the Kincaid Fire and then on Sunday having a hair-raising experience getting cornered by the Vallejo Sky Fire on Hwy 80. This combined with PGE’s unscrupulous behavior has left me wondering has it all burned down? Or at least will it? What will be left for my children? It’s a desolate, unhopeful place to be.

And yet, I believe deeply in turning our intention towards the life we want, the things we want, the places where there is joy, and not getting caught in the spin out of negative thought forms (though I do!).  And so I thought and felt and felt and thought and then, Resilience! Nature is incredibly resilient, and not in the way that it can take a beating and still exist, that’s not what I’m talking about, I’m talking about how next spring through the the desolation of the ashes, a little teeny tiny sprout is going to pop up. I’m talking about the little green weeds that find their way through slabs of cement in a city. I’m talking about how when it seems (and maybe it has) a fire has burned it all down, that you can choose to turn towards the little piece of growth that will inevitably push forward. This little sprout, this little piece of growth is your lifeboat and your anchor when all is lost.

So if you are here with me right now where it’s all burned down, or have been, for whatever reason it is for you, turn towards your practices where you grow, transform and be tender and with love. This is what nature will do and bright beautiful strong plants and trees will one day stand there. Your manifestations will also one day come to be.

Manifestation isn’t woo-woo or a magic pill (though it is magical) it’s an actual process that takes place in nature and resilience is a secret ingredient. Resilience meaning keep growing, keep transforming, keep tending the little sprouts of love. How to do that? Well, I think that’s another post, but here’s my hint, it’s a practice. And please hit return and tell me your ideas on that too! I’m sure you’ve got some good ones.

Love and blessings!
