Where You Are is Exactly Where You are Supposed to Be

This is especially true during a pandemic

Where you are is exactly where you are supposed to be. This is always true, for the simple fact if you were supposed to be somewhere else, literally or metaphorically, you WOULD be! But I’m finding this little spiritual truth even more relevant during the time of the pandemic.

We’re all finding ourselves mostly at home, but with a different set of circumstances.

Some of you are finding your way with a newborn baby, some are grieving a loved one, some just got a new job and are on a steep learning curve, some of you are unemployed with a stalled job search, some have a banging business to manage, and others of you are trying to find your way into a successful career without knowing what the world will look like in the fall. Some of you are managing a marriage and others are trying to meet someone in the time of social distancing! Oy!

Some of you are enjoying the pause (yay for you!), but other of you are frustrated or struggling by feeling like you can’t move forward with that career, that love life, that business building, that community building. I get it. It’s hard to be in a holding pattern for months, BUT . . . .

Where you are is exactly where you are supposed to be.

But still, holding patterns are hard, so here’s what I suggest doing while you are where you are supposed to be!

  1. Make a list of what you want to call in your ideal job, community, project, partner. Manifestation works even during a pandemic, so get started.

  2. Spend some time on your values, or what I’m starting to call something like your Inner Nature Map. How to do this? Start noticing what things are most important to you - what is most organized in your home? What do you spend most of your time thinking about? What would you buy now if money was no issue?

  3. Read an inspirational book, how about Creating Money by Sunaya Roman - I think this is one of the best books on money out there and a lot of us could use a little money-love right now.

  4. Expand your mind and heal our divided world by getting curious with a friend or family member who thinks differently than you, like REALLY open yourself to listen and hear them. Like Dr Fauci is your hero but your friend thinks the Plandemic is in full effect, have a real, generous and open conversation about. Or maybe YOU think this is the Plandemic but your family is really worried about getting sick, how about opening to hear what their hearts are saying. Because learning to hear and maybe even learn a little from people who believe different than us is beautiful and important things to do right now.

Because as I said before, we’re all exactly where we are supposed to be.

With love and Blessings!
