Happy New Year!
Oh yes, you read that right, I believe manifestation absolutely SHOULD be part of your political activism for 2020! Oh hey, what? Isn’t manifestation just about getting stuff you want? I can hear a few of you pushing back and saying:
“Manifestation is just about getting more stuff, and the world is a bleeping disaster, how can getting a bigger house have anything to do with healing our ailing, environment, economics, politics, etc, etc.??”
Well, yes, the practice of manifestation IS about getting things you want, like more clients, a new space for your office, the perfect nanny, or maybe even a new car or a vacation to Mexico. That’s absolutely what manifestation will help you do. But that’s just the surface. Let me explain why it can be part of your political activism by showing first what manifestation CAN’T do.
Here’s what you CAN’T DO with Manifestation:
1. You CAN’T manifest from the ego mind/thinking head space. It just won’t work, you’ll be forcing not manifesting. You can only truly manifest desires that bubble forth from the depth of your heart space. Those desires will always be aligned with the universe and will always be of benefit to the planet and all the beings living on it. So if the longing for a bigger house doesn’t come from a heart space, you won’t be able to manifest it.
2. You CAN’T manifest from the viewpoint of a reductionistic, punitive, hierarchical universe. Again, it just won’t work, you’ll be forcing and trying to dominate the physical realm. Manifestation works when we understand the universe and planet is alive, magical, benevolent and wants to be in loving relationship with you.
3. You CAN’T manifest if you think you are a separate isolated human being. In isolation we must manipulate, control and force outcomes. The entire premise of manifestation is that behind the veil of form, ALL is connected through the quantum field. It’s via this all encompassing energy field of oneness that we can shift our inner energies to shift outer form experiences. i.e. call in some new clients. We work and play with the oneness, we don’t dominate it.
Essentially you can’t manifest if you are stuck in fear, hierarchical form, or separation thinking (and please don’t judge yourself if you are, we ALL are sometimes) , and all of those are contributing to the devastation of our political, economic, ecological, and communal world.
So, if you turn towards manifestation, you also turn toward the inner hummings of your heart, an alive loving universe, and a worldview of complete interconnectedness and togetherness, and the creation of a life in harmony with all. And this my friends is the balm for the reductionistic, controlling, forcing system that is currently in place and hurting so much of what we love. And, don’t forget, manifestation ALWAYS calls us to evolve higher and that’s always a good thing.
